Vehicle Detail

This '66 Charger was stored in my uncle's barn since 1983. My uncle died and there is no place to store it. Old tags were placed on it to tow from barn.to new temp location. My wife had a '67 Charger and one day a young boy (high school senior) knocked on the door wanting to know if we wanted to buy his Charger. He had blown his engine, pulled it and the transmission out to rebuild it when his grandfather said he'd give him a car. Not wanting to be without a car he accepted the offer. He'd seen her car on the way to and from school. We knew at that time there were only 3 chargers of that vintage (his and ours included) on the whole eastern shore of Maryland and one in lower Delaware. Thinking if someone ever hit us it might be hard to find body parts we bought it and had it towed to the barn 30 miles away. We never needed a thing from this car. She is exactly as it was when we purchased it. I'm not a mechanic and don't work with cars so to the best of my knowledge and as described above: The title is clear. There is no engine ( was a 383 ) and no transmission. The interior is all there as seen except no glove box container or lock in the glove box lid. No clock on the front center console. Driveshaft and radiator are placed behind rear seats. Odometer is 61,684. Three new tires put on to tow out of barn. Left front still held air. All wheels but one have a lug bolt wrung off. Assume some garage didn't know procedure and used an air wrench. This car the front wheel lug nuts loosen by turning them clockwise and the rear wheel lug nuts loosen by turning them counter clockwise. Most wheels have only 3 lug nuts, not the full set. Was like that when we bought it.Keys have long ago been misplaced but the doors are unlocked. See new keys and cylinder sets on ebay for approx.. 65 dollars. Worst rust is on right rear quarter panel and right rear bumper. other rust as seen in pictures.Looks like gas tank rusted thru. Small crack on left side of tail light lens and rear right "R" on lens is missing. The window glass all around is good and not cracked. One of the outside mirrors has mirror glass broken. The body looks nice for its age.Interior is white. Seats will need re-upholstering, headliner is great, door panels will need cleaning and carpeting replaced. Can't open the trunk as I don't have a key. As far as under the hood ,pictures will have to suffice as I don't know what is and isn't present. The springs for the hood are there but not attached. The exterior paint is fading and flaking in spots. I believe he said he had it painted over cheaply at a MAACO paint shop. So if anyone is looking for a car for spare parts if needed for a 66 or 67 or for restoration, racing, etc. this '66 is offered for your consideration.
