FOR SALE: 1963 Chevrolet Impala 2-door Hardtop The car is powered by the popular 283ci V8 paired to the 2-speed Powerglide transmission. I am not going to issue a claim that this is the original motor and transmission that was in the car because I am unsure although it is a possibility. These cars were offered with a 4.7L 283ci V8 paired to an automatic transmission. The car is white on the outside and light blue on the inside. There is also hand-painted pinstriping on the hood, the trunk, and the areas behind the side windows. The majority of the exterior trim is in good shape and it appears that most of the trim is original. The car does have power brakes and power steering. The car is lowered all the way around, as seen. The car rolls on "baby moons" mounted on good tires with a thin white wall. The car has non-functional Lake pipes, double antennas, and double spotlights. The door handles on the car have been shaved on the doors are electrically opened with the push of a button under each corresponding headlight. The previous owner owned the car for 27 years and worked to restore the car to his liking. The paint is in good shape. The interior is in great shape and it shows very well. The car runs and drives great and it presents no reliability issues at all. The car sounds healthy and never misses a lick.
