I'm getting married in less than a month and I want more money for my honeymoon.. Sadly I have to part with a vehicle and this one is very dear to me, but not as dear as all the others.. I WILL NOT SELL ANY PARTS OFF THIS JEEP WHATSOEVER, SO DON'T ASK. It's a very, very rare 1955 first edition CJ5 and it is the "Farm Jeep" model, meaning it was factory made with a 3 point hitch and a pto on the back to be used as a farm tractor. This jeep is super solid on the body and frame. It has NO rust apart from the surface dusting on everything you can see in the pictures, and the floor pan of the tool box under the passenger seat is rusted through. But the body mount and structural bar that goes across is totally solid. It literally just needs a small piece of sheet metal putting it and it would be fine. It runs and drives well, starts right up on the button and idles very smooth. However the muffler is blocked and clogs up when it gets warm so it needs replaced. 4 wheel drives works well in high and low and the clutch is new. I've put tons of parts on this thing. New fuel tank, new lights all around, new old stock Willy's speedometer, new brake lines, battery, fuel lines and pump etc.. It also has a brand new rear spring to replace one that is bad, and a brand new brake master cylinder and reservoir to replace the old one, as the brakes work but not good enough for my liking. I have the PTO shaft, transfer attachment, hydraulic tank and lever (still mounted) and ONE 3pt hitch arm. Sadly the other arm didn't come with the truck when I got it. I have a full roof frame for it in excellent condition, but the canvas is shot. Two full sized doors with very good canvas. A spare wheel and tire, the list goes on. It's a fantastic little jeep and incredibly rare, especially in this condition. I'm very sad to get rid of it but something has to go. It will need tires as these are good tread but weather cracked. The windshield is cracked also and the headlights have suddenly started not working, but clearly these are all very minor things. Clear Indiana title in my name. I think that's everything.
