A great value for an alert buyer/collector... This car runs and drives beautifully, and is a great fun car as she now sits. The rebuilt engine, which is not the original powerplant, has only about 500 miles on it, and is very powerful, tight, and responsive. At some point in its life, the car was in a collision which required replacement of the front legs of the chassis rails and a partial front "clip". This most likely occurred decades ago, as the previous owner (of over 20 years) had no knowledge of this event until it was recently discovered during my preparation of the car for sale. I have driven the car assertively, over rough roads, to ensure its roadworthiness, and it is solid, stable, and very quick. The interior is in excellent condition, and the soft top is "like new". The hard top's chrome/stainless and glass are excellent. It will need to be repainted, and it will need a new headliner. If you invest in a new paint job and repair/replace some of the cove and front-fender stainless trim, you will have a car worth many thousands more than price I am seeking.
