Up for sale is a cool '71 Mercedes-Benz S-Class 280SE. The car runs and drives great. I took this in and out of manhattan with no issues. Stops well and keeps up with modern traffic nicely. The steering makes a little noise but works and no shakes or shimmies even at 85 mph. Driving this car is really nice. All of the needed features work but there are sars. ome issues. The radio is missing and the horn/speedometer are currently inop. The car has no real rust and the brightwork is great. This car is unrestored and while it needs some attention it is in a really good state given it hasnt been cosmetically treated in 43 years. The interior on this car is needs a bit of help. The carpet set is replaced and is a bit rough. There are some splits on the seats too. The wood trim at the dash and the windshield is missing. Extrerior is overal very good. All original steel and chrome is shiny with just a few dings. This car is fun to drive!!! If you are looking for a rolling project buy it. If you are looking for a perfect example for resortation bid now... or if you need a drive train for a coupe or convetible then just buy buy buy.
