This 1965 Corvair Monza is stunning and in absolutely fantastic condition with the right options and great colors. It is a California vin car and also has a current CA title. It has zero rust and sports new two stage paint and has the original interior with newer carpet. The 110 HP air cooled six runs like a clock and pulls strong in all 4 gears with smooth shifting late Saginaw trans axle and quiet operation. Everything works properly ,including factory A/C , heater and radio with factory tinted glass. The headliner is original. The dash pad and door panels are flawless . Interior paint work is correct and original paint finish. Also the interior rear window trim is New. The highly desireable optional steering wheel is mint (no cracks). Also the car has quick steering arms (NOT factory)with Clark part numbers. All of the weatherstrips are soft and original with the trunk and deck lid rubber replacements. The correct factory optional wire wheel covers are in mint with no dents or curb rash. The floors ,sub frames,trunk ,and rockers are flawless and have no holes or rust- as the pictures show. The rear 1/4 lower areas are flawless. Also this car has very nice to excellent chrome trim ,including the front emblem. There are a couple small dents on the rear window stainless trim and one on the front . I have owned the car for 1 year. I also know the prior owners and some history . It came to me from the west coast and I no longer have proper storage as I have recently relocated and now can not properly garage the car. Recent maintenance on the car includes a very through inspection for any issues done by a top Corsa Repair Specialist from upstate SC. The car had full brake service with new linings, hoses, rebuilt master and wheel cylinders ,and a lower ball joint . All of the heater hoses ,including top and oval hoses , a complete tune up . Within the past 6 months I had the paint refinished with 2 stage paint. Also recent oil /filter change with a new oil pan gasket, and fuel pump and a new shift tube assy with bronze bushings . It runs out great and steers and stops without issues . The heat and air work properly although the thermostats have been removed some time in the past. The engine is nicely detailed and sports Clark dual exhausts. Also the car has quick steering arms with Clark part numbers. The 185 80 13 tires have at least 75 to 80% tread remaining. But remember this is almost a 50 year old automobile so it is not perfect ,with some signs of use and age. This is a very nice example of the late series corvair with one of the best looking body designs coming out of fisher body in the 60's.
