2001 Honda Interceptor

Offered is a 2001 Honda Interceptor VFR 800. This is the version with the gear-driven cam shafts. The mileage on the bike is 27,263. I have owned it for many years. I have been riding since 1955 and have owned numerous motorcycles, including Harleys, a Vincent, and Triumphs. This Honda is by far the nicest machine in so many ways, especially the exhaust note. It has gotten to the point where the bike has gotten too heavy for me and I am sorry to say I haven't ridden it in about a year. It has gotten a couple of minor mars in the garage....two that are the most noticeable are on the lower rear edge of the right cowl, straight back from the VFR decal.....and on the top of the gas tank there is a very small dimple on the right-hand side of the filler, about 2 inches out and slightly forward. The dimple is in the bright, reflected area on the top panel of the tank, about straight up from the rear edge of the Honda decal. Everything else is just reflection, including what looks like scuff marks on the side panel. There are no scuff marks, just reflection. This is hard to see in the last image. The tires are Bridgestone front and rear and have about 1/8th inch of tread remaining on each. This bike has been absolutely trouble free and the high bidder will be extremely pleased with the purchase.
