1965 ford mustang fastback Rust free body no rust issues! I completed floor section from donor 1965 California coup. Welded in all factory locations. Has all Ford factory panels with exception to quarter panels. I did use aftermarket Goodmark. Doors close and sound like new. 3M light weight filler was used prior to covering in PPG epoxy primer (black). It will need block sanding to get ready for paint. It does have some imperfections that can be easily fixed with sanding and primer surfacer. I did not load this car up with filler, was used sparingly and where needed. I was planning on driving in primer for a year or two. Hood is rough and should be replaced if painting with base clear. It was hit on nose. I got its shape back but will need more work to make it look good. I removed all lead as it was starting to crack. Panel fitment is great. Used 200 Inline 6 cylinder and C4 AT from coupe. This is a non numbers vehicle. I have no idea where original motor and trans are. Lot of work done. All new brakes in four corners: master cylinder, brake lines, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, springs, tensioners. New fuel tank, fuel sending unit, fuel lines, pump and rebuilt carb. engine has all new gaskets (except rear main it leaks a little). Trans has new front seal, pan gasket and filter. Trans has light leak from shifter arm seal.Rear axle has new bearings and pinion seal. Front suspension the tie rods worn out. It will need tie rods, and shocks. All original glass even the windshield, glass does have pitting no cracks. Interior is complete except kick panels and trap door. Interior quarter trim mounted lamps are here just not installed. New headliner installed and interior panels refinished. Have inner door trim panels (drivers trim panel is a weird hand made piece) and windshield trim is pictured. Heater box cleaned, heater core good, replaced vent extension. Is missing exterior rear window trim and outer drip molding above doors ( the cheap ones). All of these can easily be found. Quarter vents disassembled, stripped of paint, cleaned, lubed and reassembled. Window mechanisms need adjustment as window operation is difficult. Will need window felts. All lamps work. No electrical issues. I included a picture of floor bare to show condition but interior is completed as other pictures show. Other than tie rods I would drive this thing home. However due to their poor condition I would trailer. I have clear title in my name with matching door tag and inner fender tag. I have taken care in describing this vehicle as accurately as possible. I do not like suprises and I am sure you do not either. Bid with confidence, and ask questions.
