1988 Land Rover Defender 90 pickup with a 19J 2.5 Turbo Diesel 5 Speed 4x4 transmission. Description - I have a rare RHD defender 90 pickup 4 x 4 with only 92,997 original miles with one owner from new. The first date of registration is on August 1st 1988 in the UK and came from Kingsbridge England. The vehicle was imported by me this year for resale. We now have a full clear title from the Maryland (MVA) so the truck is ready for use immediately all you need to do is go pick up your tags. There is NO additional paper work required and was 100% legally imported and complies with all DOT and EPA laws for its age. Due to the age of the vehicle it also is State inspection exempt and is eligible for Historic Tags. This 4x4 defender is completely solid throughout with no rot anywhere, it’s 100% original and runs and drives like a dream. The paint is a little tired however is 25 years old. In the great condition we also inspected the doors, Bulkhead, Screen Corners, chassis and anywhere else you can think of and found NO RUST OR ROT. We had the Land Rover Specialist mechanic also do a full service and a MOT test which is a UK safety inspection that includes things like Rot or rust, brake efficiency, brake lines, engine CO2 and much more see attached mot copy. Happy with all of the above before we put it up for sale we also road tested this truck for 2 weeks in which case it was driven daily to ensure there are no issues, In doing so I replaced the fuel tank with a brand new one as it was weeping from the seam when I filled it up. If you are looking for a good restoration project or just a nice defender that isn't 25K-80K this is the one for you as it will not cost much to restore or nothing to just use. I welcome any inspection this is a clean little truck for not allot of money. Restored it will be worth $25-35K. Location - The vehicle is located at my warehouse in Savage, Maryland 20763 about 15miles away from BWI airport. We generally have a couple of European 4x4 in stock at all time so feel free to come inspect and test drive the vehicle.
