It's getting increasingly tougher to find a vintage 80's Toyota 4x4. It has pretty much flawless paint. This trucks a dream being a short bed with working A/C! Plus, it's the coveted straight axle model. Everything works as it should on this pickup, including the cold factory air conditioning. Just push the A/C button, and there you go. There are brand new 30x9.50x15 All Terrain tires mounted on the stock steel wheels. I installed a new Sony CD player in the factory radio position in dash. I also installed new Kenwood 2-way speakers in the doors. 3 way Roadmaster 6x9s are in place in the factory position in rear cab corners behind seat, plus the stock 2 way speakers in the dash, for a total of a 6 speaker system, it sounds great. Book for new stereo is in the glove box. Other new parts are as follows: Battery, Starter, Hoses, Coolant, Carburetor, Clutch, Headlights, Seat Cover, Radiator Cap, and Catalytic Converter. Leaf springs also replaced, ride height is very nice. Dual shocks up front, singles in rear, plus steering stabilizer. Passed California Emissions on May 1, 2014, certificate in hand, and sent to Calif DMV. Registration is current, and good for one full year. The truck starts, runs, and drives great. The condition of the truck is as it looks in the pics, excellent. It has NEVER had any rust being a western truck originating in the Nevada desert, and being in the dry Southern Calif climate now. It has had one repaint, and it did not need body work. It really didn't need paint, but I wanted it looking even better. Doors open and close like the day it was made, both door locks work. Always starts when you need it to, just stick the key in and go. One thing I could say, is that the drivers window rolls up a bit stiff, passenger side is easier. Still works fine, but could use lubrication or something. It could use a spare wheel since there is not one, and I don't have an extra laying around. Never been smoked in, smells great inside. It's very clean. We can do this one of several ways in regards to picking up the truck after the sale is made. You can pay cash in person, you can wire funds, or you can use a cashiers check, but the cashiers check will take 10 days to clear the bank, and I will not release the truck until that has cleared your bank and mine. Wire transfer or cash is preferred for immediate pick up or shipping. I am willing to cooperate with your shipper, or I can pick you up at the Burbank Airport, I prefer that airport over LAX. Or, you can pick up the truck locally in Calabasas Calif. Buyer responsible for all shipping costs. Email with all questions, I'm happy to call as well.
