Rare 1930 REO Flying Cloud BARN FIND This 1930 REO Flying Cloud was driven on weekends up until 1970. It was then backed into a barn, turned off (keys still in the ignition) and left until discovered in November 2013. Trees that had grown in front of the barn doors had to be removed as well as sawing off the bottom 2 inches of the barn doors (due to the structure settling) to achieve access. This car is 100% COMPLETE. Every component that was originally on the car remains, including the original screw jack and engine crank located in the removable steel trunk (which has working locks). The car also has the original 2 spare wheels and tires that are side mounted (removed in these pictures for clarity). No structural damage has occurred during storage. Surface patina due to humidity only; no water damage and the top is still pliable without any cracks or tears. Two tires actually still maintain air pressure. Ransom E Olds (REO) created a very well appointed car in the Flying Cloud. This one remains completely intact with only rustic storage causing its current state. As can be seen from the pictures, the car could be fully restored, or a Hot Rod / Rat Rod project by installing a Cummins Diesel drive train.
