I know just enough mechanically to confuse someone that actually knows what they are doing. the transmission shifts. the a/c works. it has descent tires all the way around but the rear ones are better than the fronts. this is a nice, clean TDI Passat but just in case you MISSED IT in the heading and the other few places I mentioned it this car is selling as a MECHANIC SPECIAL because it needs work. this car has a good battery that stays up and never has failed to start this car up immediately. it sat at the dealer auction I bought it at for 3 weeks before I was able to get it picked up and it started right up. but as soon as it starts up it is immediately evident that it is missing on a cyclinder. you can see in the pictures that the belt was replaced at 192k miles so my assumption would be that it is an injector but when you open the oil cap there is air coming out so I don't know if it would be doing that if it was just an injector. I know just enough mechanically to confuse someone that actually knows what they are doing. the transmission shifts. the a/c works. it has descent tires all the way around but the rear ones are better than the fronts.
