This is a really neat van that is a blast to drive and draws a crowd everywhere I go. The van was on the 2007 power tour and also was in November 2007 hot rod magazine center fold cherry bomb calendar. The van also appears in a separate cherry bomb 2007 calendar. The color is hugger orange with painted stripes and the paint is nice and shiny.It is a base clear coat paint.I don’t see any rust in the van at all. It still has its original inline 6 that was rebuilt in 2006 and runs great. The transmission is a 3 speed manual (on the tree). The thrust side pipes sound good and it also has 17 in sprint wheels and the tires look like new. It also has a new battery and is very reliable. The van starts first time every time and drives well. The front end steers nice and straight and doesn’t have any play in the steering. The van also has air ride suspension. I does raise and lower fine. All the glass is great with no cracks and is nice and clear. The custom grille is really neat and looks sharp on the van. The bumpers were removed at the time of the build to give it a nice clean look. The vents under the headlights look real but they are airbrushed on. The van also has a custom gas cap with a large key to open it. I drive the van to work 2 days a week and sometimes on the weekends with no problems. I don’t know the mileage on the van due to the title says exempt due to its age. There is some filler in the front corners where the turn signals were removed but not much. The interior is nice and looks good and the silver sparkle steering wheel is a nice touch. The vans stereo cd player works and sounds good. The speedometer works but some of the other gauges don’t. I have never checked them to see why they don’t work so it may be something simple to fix. The gas gauge does work from time to time whenever it feels like it. These old cars have personalities and they also have little quirks. The van is 51 years old and is not a new car and doesn’t drive like the modern cars of today. This van is a cool little hot rod style vehicle that you will be proud to drive to your local car shows. It isn’t a real nice show car but it is a real nice driver quality. So if you are looking for a new car then just go on past this van. These old vans are getting harder to find and are getting pretty rare. I have described the van as well as I can and may have left out a few details that I can’t think of at this time. If you have any questions feel free to ask them.
