Up for auction is my 2003 Jetta Wagon TDI. My brother specially ordered this car new, and I purchased it from him 5 years ago. I have all maintenance records from when the car was purchased, and the original window sticker (see pictures). Two VW key fobs are included, but the privacy cover for the trunk is missing. The lower lip of the front bumper was removed, and the front plastic wheel well covers are missing large pieces. Cosmetically, the car shows its mileage, but the paint is in good shape. There are dents on the driver front fender, passenger door, and hood. The clear coat is peeling from the side view mirrors, and door handles. Since 300k, major work has been: 297944- Remanufactured turbo, north side injector kit, timing belt/water pump, cam followers, new cam, head machined308000- Audio system purchased from installed by Crutchfield in Harrisonburg, VA. Infinity speakers (maintain stock appearance), Pioneer Bluetooth-enabled receiver (note, doesn't have a CD player. Accepts SD cards, Aux input, or iPods). Boston Acoustics amp, Custom-built, easily removable sub box. Rear passenger and hatch windows professionally tinted (VA street legal).313870- A/C compressor, left side trans mount328348- Replaced signal stalk assembly334303- Front and rear struts334917- Drivers side PW/PL switch assembly, and center console (center console is used and tan vinyl. I have the original center console with the tan leather lid. Front are 80%, rear are 65% Yokohama 80k tires. I have all documentation for the audio system, and I have the original VW receiver and speakers. Synthetic oil has been changed regularly. Rear brakes are brand new (as of February), front are 75%. Future maintenance must include timing belt. Current belt has 65216 on it. The clutch has 186096 miles on it, but it doesn't slip. I don't want to part with this car, but I'm in the military and orders have me shipping soon. Very minor (think 1 drip per minute) during downpour, leak from driver's side door top. This door sags a bit from all the opening and closing over the years. Don't think the seal is bad, just door sagging). Passenger seat leather is very hard. Center console lid to cover power plug/ashtray is missing (as in pictures). Some of the plastic is misaligned from repairs/taking it apart over the years (center console mostly).On Apr-30-14 at 19:32:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Has heated seats.
