1983 Honda 650 Silver Wing Interstate. Purchased new by my dad in 83. He quit riding it over ten years ago and it sat in the garage for that long. Got it out last year and I spent neary $1200 getting it ridable again. It has new fork seals, new front tire. Front brakes have been completely rebuilt. New front brake master cylinder. New windshield, the old one had gotten milky with age. Changed all fluids. New front brake pads, rebuilt the carburetors, new battery. I have put probably around 100 miles on it since getting it running last year. It runs really well. My dad did drop it twice, both times low speed. The saddlebags are scratched a bit and the edge of the front fairing is scuffed as shown in the picture. The top of the topcase is cracked as shown in the pictures as well. There is also a very small dent on the right side where your knee hits the tank. Overall though, it is a very solid bike and should be good for many more years. It is very comfortable to ride. The back tire is decent but should probably be replaced as it is pretty old. Also, the back tire is an Avon and the lettering on the side of the tire just slightly touches the swingarm. At low speed you can hear it. According to the local Honda shop, Avon tires run a little wide and another brand of the same size would not do that. If you have questions, ask.
