It's getting increasingly tougher to find a vintage 80's Toyota 4x4. It has pretty much flawless paint. This trucks a dream being a short bed with working A/C! It was customized when new, and babied ever since. Plus, it's the coveted straight axle model. This truck is still sporting custom accessories like dual wiper blades, and custom Diamond Plate Aluminum Rockers Moldings installed back in the day when new. But, no roll bar, I think it needs one myself. Everything works as it should on this pickup, including the cold factory air conditioning. Just push the A/C button, and there you go. There are brand new 30x9.50x15 All Terrain tires mounted on Enkie 5 hole 15x8 alloy wheels. I also installed a new Sony CD player in the factory radio position in dash. I also installed new Kenwood 2-way speakers in the doors. 3 way Roadmaster 6x9s are in place in the factory position in rear cab corners behind seat, plus the stock 2 way speakers in the dash, for a total of a 6 speaker system, it sounds great. Book for new stereo is in the glove box. The truck starts, runs, and drives great. There are some new parts installed on this truck also. Some new parts are starter (new not rebuilt), clutch and throw out bearing, stereo/speakers, seat cover (there is wear and a tear on drivers seat edge that IS repaired and covered by new seat cover on truck now, repair was minor), new tires, new headlights (old school grates still over headlights now), new dash mat (dash has cracked, but cover beautifies). The condition of the truck is as it looks in the pics, excellent. It has NEVER had any rust being a western truck originating in the Nevada desert, and being in the dry Southern Calif climate now. It has had one repaint, and it did not need body work. It really didn't need paint either, but I wanted it looking even better. Doors open and close like the day it was made, both door locks work, comes with two keys. Always starts when you need it to, just stick the key in and go. Carbureted not injected as built. One thing I could say, is that the drivers window rolls up a bit stiff, passenger side is easier. Still works fine, but could use lubrication or something, and I don't want to risk messing up the door panel to get to that stuff so I won't touch that. It could use a spare tire to since there is not one, and I don't have an extra laying around. Never been smoked in, smells great inside. It's very clean inside. We can do this one of several ways in regards to picking up the truck after the sale is made. You can pay cash in person, you can wire funds, or you can use a cashiers check, but the cashiers check will take 10 days to clear the bank, and I will not release the truck until that has cleared both banks. Wire transfer or cash is preferred for immediate pick up or shipping. I am willing to cooperate with your shipper, or I can pick you up at the Burbank Airport, I prefer that airport over LAX.
