Extremely rare 1948 Desoto Suburban.Car originally came from New Hampshire and was believed to be a Hotel car out of Mount Washington.Very Few of these car remain. When was the last time you saw one?Solid car with no issues.One repaint that shows very well but has obvious defects, faded in parts, looks great from 6 feet, see pics.One of the nicest interiors of these car. All the door panels, trim pieces are extremely nice with no cracks, dents, missing parts.New carpet and seat covers done very well in the original color and patterns.Dash is beautiful.All gauges, lights, speedo, fog lights, all work.Roof rack is in very good condition with recent varnishing.New Clutch, brakes, shoes, wheel cylinders, all fluids changed, new shocks.Motor runs great, has great oil pressure, runs cool and does not need a rebuild.Trans is good.New Diamond Classic Radial White Walls on original rims.Glass is good with a crack in rear drivers side window see pics.Underside of car is very clean with no rust at all.All original sheet metal, trim and bumpers including hubcaps.Chrome is good, there is some pitting but still shows well.
