Vehicle Detail

1989 Mustang LX, 5.0 V8, 5sp. Charq. grey with grey cloth interior, Adjustable sport seats, sunroof, AM/FM Cass, Air cond.Power windows. Car is all original and appears to have original paint. It's faded but original. I just installed a new clutch kit and a new flywheel. It's been adult owned since new and doesn't have any modifications except Magnaflow mufflers. The sunroof weatherstriping is dryrotted and will need replaced. The body has no rust and was rustproofed when new. Everything lines up perfectly. All power windows work fine. The interior, seats, door panels, carpet, dash, and console are beautiful. Headliner will need to be replaced due to sunroof leaking from weatherstripping. Hatch back operates fine and stays open properly. There is a small bubbled area under left side of hatchback lid as shown in pictures. The undercarriage of the car in completely rust free and free. The car runs very strong and shifts good. No smoke or weird noises. Drives tight and straight. It has a small seap from rear tranny tail shaft. I'm gonna change the seal tomorrow. The drivers door pins are worn and I have a brand new set that I will try and install this week. Otherwise, they will be included. In my opinion, this is too nice and original to make a drag car. It would be an easy restoration or a resto mod. I drove it to work everyday last week and it's a blast to drive. I took many pics and have tried to describe it to the best of my knowledge. It's not perfect, it will need restored to be really nice. But, it's a very nice, straight, unmolested, original survivor car. Paint could probably be wet sanded and buffed and it would be fairly passable, but, the passanger fender has the paint worn thru on the top. See pics.
