UP FOR SALE IS A CLEAN 1982 Mercedes 240D diesel. This vehicle is in a very good condition. It starts promptly in all weather, accelerates, idles and drives nicely. Car drives really smooth and accelerates excellently. All the lights work fine. All the mirrors and lenses are in good condition though the front glass has a chip in it and the headlamp lenses has some barely noticeable line cracks. No missing body parts etc. Super Reliable! AC blows but but not cold and of course the heater works fine. It has AM/FM Kenwood cassette and they work perfectly. Dash has barely noticeable cracks. There are little rusts and rust bubbles on this well kept car( see pictures ). Exterior paints are in excellent condition because it has been repainted but expect some dings and scratches and scrapes. Interior seats are excellent and no tears or rips whatsoever. Carpets are good despite not been cleaned but could still use some cleaning. The gas and temperature gauges fluctuates complement of these old mercedes diesels. Don't be fooled by the mileage. This is a Mercedes 240 diesel that can go up to 500K miles This car will serve the next fortunate owner for many years and many miles. Plenty of life left. Cheap, reliable and easy to maintain everyday transportation. These cars basically run forever, if properly maintained like this one. All the fluids are topped off.
