Purchased in 2006 as a project for my 50th birthday. I spent a year restoring the Honda for practical use, but also as a demonstration of the great start of the sport bike era. Restoration included: - Tank sandblasted internally, epoxy coated and repainted (spare rebuildable tank comes with the purchase) - New chain and rear tire (new old stock front tire comes with purchase) - All new brake lines, pistons, pads and NOS master cylinders - Carbs disassembled, rebuilt (recently opened and cleaned) - Replaced lights in instrument cluster - all instruments, switches and lights fully functional - Recent new battery The Honda starts well, runs very smoothly and has the pull you expect above 5000 rpm. Below 5000, the bike is quiet and docile. Above 5000, it has a very quick throttle response to 9500 and the exhaust note you expect. Sale includes a sales brochure for the CF750F from 1981 (shows the CB in the exact color) and two repair manuals. Original owner manual and small tool kit also included. I rode the bike approximately 800 miles over the past 7 years, using it to get to work (7 miles) on nice days. This bike is well maintained, drivable on day 1, and a great starting point for anyone who wants to either use it regularly, or take the restoration to the next level. I have clear title (NJ).
