Chevy 2500HD 4x4 Quad Cab 8.1! This truck is one awsome truck! I have put a ton of work into this truck over the years so I’ll do my best to list everything. Truck is a Quadcab, short bed with optional factory installed two tone leather . Upgraded 250A alternator – see stereo…. J Dual electric seats, power windows/locks, cruise control etc… all the goodies. Engine - Hands down Chevy’s BEST engine ever. 8.1L gas engine with 550 hp (410 kW) and 690 lb·ft (936 N·m) if torque. This thing will tow anything you want. Known as the “workhorse” of all V8’s and installed in motor homes this sucker has many forged internal parts – this engine will last forever! Allison 5-spd transmission is amazing. Factory installed 4:11 gears and intercooler. Suspension – Custom 6” lift with a 3” body lift to clear the 17” rims and 37” BFG mudders. Fox nitrogen shocks mounted on hoops and CST uni-ball control arms. Upgraded Fabtech tie-rods – you will not break them! Ready to play in the dirt. Stereo – here we go! Entire truck interior taken apart and installed 150sqtf of dynamat so the truck is super quite and has almost no rattles. Full JL Audio, all the way around. Four 6.5" subs with separate tweeters and crossover. 12W7 sub mounted UNDER THE TRUCK!! Yes, under the truck. You will not find a truck like this anywhere. Speaker mounted in double insulated acoustic MDF surrounded by 1/4” diamond plated steel. Fiberglass enclosure in truck mounted under the passenger left side meaning the box takes up almost NO room inside the truck – it’s on the bottom! 1000W JL amp for the sub and a 300x4 for the mids. Electrical conduit mounted under the truck too. Custom dash – moved the stereo and DVD player down and replaced with an LCD TV. Well over $6k in entertainment hardware alone – and I did all the work myself to make sure it was done right! LJ Audio actually offered me a job after showing them the system. Makes your eyes rattle – perfect for chilling in the desert. Well into the $10k+ range if paying someone to do the work. Bed of the truck includes Rhino-lining and paint matching Tonneau cover. Chrome side steps. Mileage shows 130k but more like 136k cuz of the oversized tires. Mechanically the truck is rock solid and in the last six months had over $3.2k in service work done. New radiator, cooling hoses, complete tune up (plugs, wires etc…), transmission fluid change and flush, fuel pump, performance fuel filter, A/C recharged and some new hoses, Optima Battery and Magna flow exhaust system. Had the entire truck gone thru by a professional mechanic. I was going to keep the truck forever but… divorce! Aesthetically, the truck is in decent condition (7 out of 10). The paint is good, has some scratches and one dent on the top of the truck – backed into a tree. Yes… I use the truck as it should be. Nothing major . I’ve included pictures of the scratches etc… Needs new tires and the rims are corroded so I would replace them if you’re interested in looks. I am selling my baby due to divorce – yes, western song… I HATE SELLING THIS TRUCK but I need to let it go.
