hi. this little VW runs super. the engine is great and tranny shifts OK. I take it to work, kids to school, bank, errand and on the highway. $20 gives me a half tank and I drive for days. it is my new "go to car" for most of my needs. this is a new car dealer trade and it has clean title. it is an older car, but it has an above average interior; clean and comfortable. looks like a non smoker and all original. full power, cloth, sunroof, alloys, air bags, stereo, cd, full gauges... most everything works well. this car runs and drives well; steers straight, brakes with control, rides good and is easy to operate. but, to be picky and accurate, there are some issues. passenger window goes up and down but only from the passenger side. there are some bumps and scuffs and the black paint shows some defects. left front tire is worn. front grille has broken tabs. stereo is great but an aftermarket CD. mats show signs of use and wear. power steering does not give total assist... I am OK with it, but my mechanic says the rack may be not giving full assist; for me the car runs good and I live with it. the driver's door lock with the key requires a double twist to unlock. good battery, horn, wipers, lights, full gauges, brakes, electric, sunroof, lights, seats, motor, all good. have bought and sold over 100 cars on eBay, and I am happy to continue. most of these cars for sale are new car dealer trades and or on consignment. as such, I am trying to avoid and keep down the number of re-lists, or not completed sales by high bidders. please do not bid or buy if you are short on cash, have many un-asked question or can't make arrangements with me regarding prompt payment and pick up.
