1972 Triumph Trident T150 This is one of the most collectible triumphs out there. 1972 was the last year for the air cooled drum front brake and still has the right hand shifter. This is the nicest 40 year old unrestored bike I have ever seen, the reason for this is because it was stored in a climate controlled aircraft hanger in chandler Az for the better part of 25 years. I purchased it from the original owner last year and it has been a great addition to my collection. This bike runs great and turns heads everywhere I go, however I have need to downsize my collection so this one has to go. This bike has just over 11,000 original miles on it and runs very good. It still has the original paint and all original chrome, the ignition was upgraded to electronic in the 1980’s and the original ignition parts will come with it. The exhaust is a 3 into1 unit with a dunstall muffler (sounds like no other bike on the road). The handlebars were replaced with a café’ style bar and the originals also come with it. I also have brand new OEM replacement rubbers for the footpegs, shifter, and kickstart lever. This bike has no rust or corrosion inside the gas tank or on any of the aluminum. The tires look like new and have almost 100% tread on them although the do have some flat spots on them. I’ve put about 100 miles on it in the last year and the tires are fine up to about 50 mph but if you were to take it on the freeway I would replace them. Also include with the bike are the original owners manual(not a reproduction), complete shop manual with supplement for amal carbs, and an extra oil filter with 4 Qts of Joe Gibbs hotrod oil witch has all the zinc and other good stuff in it that these engines need. A $500.00 paypal deposit is required within 48Hrs of the end of auction and the balance by cashiers check, cash, or personal check within 7 days.(Bike will not ship until payment clears 100%) If need be I would be willing to crate the bike for an additional charge if a suitable motorcycle shipper cannot be arranged.
