For sale is my 2003 VW Passat wagon. 1.8T, automatic tiptronic transmission, 185k mi, all power. The heat & A/C work well, as does the stereo. I've owned the car for the past few years & have put many good miles on it. My wife loved it so much I bought her one exactly like it (but different color). Over the past few months I've done some routine maintenance, such as CV axles, water pump & timing belt, & new battery. I've always done regular oil changes, & rotated & balanced the tires regularly (the tires will need to be replaced soon). The body has no rust whatsoever. There is a very small ding on the passenger door, & the passenger headlamp is cracked at the bottom. Both headlamps & fog lights work just as they should without issue. The interior has no stains, tears, cuts, etc. I've really enjoyed this car, but it's time to get something else. It currently needs a new cam position sensor (which is what my mechanic said). Due to that, the oil pressure isn't building as it should. I'm just ready to get something else, since my wife has the same car. It can be driven, but I wouldn't drive it until the part has been replaced. It should be towed once purchased. I know this car will be a great buy for someone who could possibly fix this themselves, but I'm not that mechanically inclined. The reserve is set low. There is no warranty implied or expressed as the car is being sold as-is. I will require a $500 deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction, with the balance being paid in full by cash or certified cashier's check at pickup.
