Vehicle Detail
This is 1947 Chevy cab sitting on a '89 Ford 3/4 ton chassis. It's got power steering, disc brakes, motor is a 351 Windsor, new, crate engine. It's got dolphin gauges, tilt wheel, buckets seats, console, automatic on the column, wipers work, heater works. Engine has low miles, not even 4,000 miles on it. First oil change done at 3,000 miles. It has chrome valve covers, aluminum intake, brake booster and master cylinder are chrome. It has MT motor metal custom aluminum wheels. It has a hitch receiver for pulling. Has trailer brakes. All lights and turn signals work. This truck was built about 5 years ago, it is not a perfect paint job, but still looks okay. Cool truck, attracts a lot of attention at events or just driving around. I have used it to haul small rat rods or street rods to shows. Dependable and can be driven anywhere. Has air shocks in the rear. Two aluminum diamond-plate tool boxes on each side, has dual gas tanks. Also comes with an extra set of overload springs and brackets, in case you want to put more load on it. I did not build this truck but my friend built it and I intended to put a 2-inch extension dovetail in the back of the bed to make it a little longer and slope down for running some ramps and with a wench to use around town to haul and pick up small rat rods or street rods as I buy and sell them. This truck is solid and tight, does not rattle and it is a pleasure to drive. I have used it to haul a car and tow a trailer and at the same. Hate to sell it but my plans are going in another direction. Everytime I drive it I change my mind about selling it. There is anywhere between $15,000 and $18,000 put into this truck. This auction is NO RESERVE. Ask questions so you can bid with confidence. Call me at 575-640-5339 anytime. This is the first true attempt at selling this bad ass and let's see what happens. For those locals who know I am selling this truck, I am asking $15,000. Non-refundable deposit of $1000 is required within 24 hours of end of auction using PayPal. Full payment is due at pick up or within 7 days. If you need to make arrangements to pick up vehicle later, contact me about storing it for you. .
