This 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham Pininfarina is a unique, beautiful very original car. It’s a 4 door hard top that is #75 of 101 cars (see body tag). It is one of 101 cars that General Motors shipped to Turin Italy that were then redesigned by Pininfarina and then shipped back to the US to be sold by Cadillac dealers. This car was sold new in California for around $16,000 and spent the first 25 years of its life owned by the same family. Its original owner's only drove it 28,210 miles. The car then came to New York and we purchased it in 1985, so it has been in the same ownership for 29 years. It currently has 30,977 miles on it. The vehicle has been started yearly and driven very little. In anticipation of selling the car, we have: cleaned out the gas tank and fuel lines, had the starter rebuilt, replaced the battery, changed a few brake light bulbs, put on all new stainless steel wheel cylinders, had the master cylinder rebuilt with stainless steel sleeves, put on all new brake pads, and rebuilt the water pump. The car currently has all silicon brake fluid. The paint appears to be 100% original. The interior color is a grey-blue color that is hard to describe. Power Steering Power BrakesPower door locks. When you open the rear doors, the rear vent window automatically opens into the roof post and then closes. The car has a clock behind the front seat in the rear compartment. It also has an Autronic Eye which raises and lowers the high beams when you’re going down the road so you don’t blind the other person. The battery from Pininfarina is mounted in the trunk. Everything on the vehicle is in working condition. The car runs like it should and will drive anywhere. The car has never been smoked in. The carpeted trunk mat was damaged years ago. The car comes with three original books, shown in pictures. This is just a really nice, unique, very original car. A real beauty. It sold in 1960 at the Caddilac dealers for just over $16,000.
