Selling complete for parts - 2001 Vw Jetta TDI Turbo Diesel 1.9l ALH Engine 200k on odometer BAD automatic transmission - code is " FDB " - NO REVERSE - will go forward just fine with no problems - previous owner drove it a few months without reverse. Been sitting in a field since July 2011 - Has some Mice poop on floor mats. Did i mention you can turn key and go forward? I figured maybe someone needs a TDI donor car for their Suzuki or Toyota ? Or maybe into an older Vw - Power window switch is broken - has 3 rims that match , then full size spare - i got into the trunk once using the key - but now i cant get into the trunk.. Alot of the interior electronics do NOT work - HEater blower motor , power windows , sunroof , radio - all this stuff DOES NOT WORK - maybe its a fuse , relay , Comfort control module , ignition switch - i do not know and i do not care.. i will NOT Diagnose it , replace parts - car is being SOLD AS IS WHERE IS - i would tow it - since it been sitting for a few years but it does start and drive just perfect. Previous owner told me the timing belt and water pump were replaced back in 2010 / 2011 when it was scheduled - but no receipt. As far as the body of the car - its decent - no visual rust or rot - dent in hood , few in roof - passenger rear tail light is broken from loading it a few weeks ago on a trailer. Front bumpers been knocked around a but its there and in decent shape. The interior is tan leather - door panels are in great shape - seats are fair / poor - driver side front door panels has duct tape holding in the power window switches - that DO NOT WORK. So to clarify: This car will start up and drive ( only in forward gears ) It will NOT come with a car battery - so bring your own or a jump box to jump start it. Automatic Transmission is BAD - with no reverse. Alot of stuff is broken and does NOT work Body is 13 years old and even though it seems to be rust free - it has some bumps and bruises Trunk will NOT open. Has mice POOP - on floor mats ( not planning on cleaning it out ) Has 3 matching 15" rims - 1 full size spare.Windshield is CRACKED - will need replaced.
