Up for auction is my 1989 325ic with 138k miles. No Reserve...so my risk may result in you scoring a sweet deal! The car is automatic and has a very straight, clean body. I purchased this vehicle last year and have fixed many little things on it. I would love to keep it and continue fixing it but don't have enough room and need to let go of some of some of my cars. This is an exceptionally clean and beautiful car, I am sad to let it go especially with spring right around the corner. Thats where it really shines, for relaxing evening cruising or going for a drive in the mountains with the top down. The car is located in Salt Lake City, UT. I have daily driven the car for the past 7 months without ANY problems. While the car looks and drives fantastic, it is obviously 25 years old and has a couple things that need to be addressed which are mentioned at the end of this ad. Please do not have unrealistic expectations of a show room vehicle. I would like to find a buyer who will continue to care for this vehicle and is wiling to do what it takes to keep this beautiful classic BMW on the road. I have clean title in hand, car will be sold as it is shown (except for euro plate it has sentimental value, i can throw in a random one if you like plates ). If you do not like low cars, I have brand new stock height shocks/springs I can put back on for you as well as a set of clean bottle caps if you do not like the aftermarket wheels. Your choice!The car had subs installed at one point and the amps are still mounted to the seat back. You could easily hook up subs again, all wiring is there. Some of the new parts / improvements:- Timing belt just done- New Top- Vert Deck Struts replaced- Various cluster and OBC lights replaced. ALL interior lights work- Falken tires with roughly 2k miles on them. - New 16x8 wheels that are some type of RS replica. - Jom Coilovers with roughly 250 miles on them. - Adjustable camber plates- New Roundels as well as clean crack free headlights/fog lights. The Good:- Clean rust free- Crack Free Dash- Front Seats show signs of wear but no tears and are very comfortable. - New timing belt, tensioner and water pump. - Car starts every time and runs very smooth- Automatic Transmission shifts well and there are no noises from anywhere in the drive line.- All Check Panel lights work and there are no errors. - Cluster works and is accurateThings that need to be fixed/need attention:- AC needs to be charged. - Seams at the top of rear seats are split open- Despite the top being new, I believe when they installed the top mechanism it was not adjusted 100% properly...so you can only roll the front windows up 97% otherwise the window will get stuck when trying to shut the door. I believe this could be fixed if either the top mechanism gets adjusted or the window regulator gets set 2mm lower. - The car leaks a little bit of oil, I have not fully determined from where but it may either be the rear of the oilpan or rear main seal. This is just a guess. It will leak 1 small drop throughout the night. - Power steering reservoir is leaking very slowly as well. I have a new reservoir which I will install prior to selling. - The driver side heated seat does not work. I have not looked into this issue at all yet.
