Hi I am selling my 1980 Little Red Corvette. This has been a 3 year driver and project. But she has to go. We are building a house later in the year and I do not have a place to put it while we build. This is a nice little daily driver. Great for Cruise in shows. It turns heads wherever she goes. Here is the History on the little Car. I bought it several years ago as a project driver. The interior is in great shape Covers and Carpet are less than 2 years old. it has 2 cracks in the dash pad. but other than that it looks great. All of the gauges work as well as the rear defrost. The paint is in good shape I have had a small scratch touched up this week on the nose where I bumped it in the garage. Mechanically it has been gone thru from top to bottom. The Transmission and brakes all 4 wheels have Rebuilt Calipers this was done in 2012. I did the Power steering last week. It had a slight leak in the control valve so it was rebuilt. turns now like a charm. now to the engine. Its a Brand New 1000 mile Small Block 350 it has Keith Black Forged Pistons Bored .30 over. It has a nice little solid Lifter Cam. You will like the nice little sound it puts out in the video. Its timed at about 10 over and runs a nice cool 180 degrees. Standard pushrods and Connecting Rods Clevite 77 bearings and Hastings Rings. The Crank is brand New. The stock Heads have been cleaned up and shaved as well as the deck. We are gauging based on the machine shop that it has about a 9.51 compression and about 330 rwhp which runs good on 89 pump gas. I run non ethanol fuel in all of my classic cars. The Carb is a nice little stock Quadrajet This motor was built by Mack Byrd formerly of Holman and Moody and Rick Hendricks motor sports. I kicked in my 2 cents worth but like with most older guys they just laugh at us 42 year old whipper snappers.
