1987 JEEP WRANGLER YJ LAREDO 4.2 INLINE 6 CYLINDER ENGINE Condition: This Jeep is exceptionally clean for its year, starts and runs great. No accidents, no rust anywhere. It has spent its entire life in the dry California air, there are upgrades throughout that makes this Jeep not only a great everyday driver but a very capable trail rig. It starts, runs and drives great. The tires are almost brand new, take a look at how much meat is on these. It has a nice full soft top with all the required hardware, no rips or tears, and nice pair of half steel doors with the very rare glass upper sliders, These glass sliders are not only very hard to find but they run about $400 for a used pair, these are nice because the door can be split into two while still giving you glass on the top portion. It has a 4x4 cable pull lock for the 4x4, these old Jeep's were notorious for having 4x4 vacuum issues causing the front axle not to engage and leaving you high and dry, a set of floor mats and if you look in the photos you will notice a nice addition to the factory roll bar giving the front passengers more protection and a handle to grab as well. Extended fender flares so you don't have to worry about these big tires chipping away the nice paint. Neoprene seat covers and a nice center console. There is no actual stereo head unit, but it does have a nice set of gauges. The front grille has the chrome overlay. Tube style bumpers front and rear with a 2" receiver for all your towing needs. Rear quarter panel corners have the black diamond plate for more body protection. It does not have A/C but if this is something your interested in believe it or not we put together kits to convert them over. There is no rear seat but we have those listed in our store here on eBay for sale as well or I will include a oem factory seat with mounting hardware w/ the buy it now listed. This has an upgraded Weber style carburetor which is the best option for these old 4.2L Engines besides an EFI kit which again we sell conversion kits for. To be honest though a simple carburetor upgrade as this one has will exceed almost anyone expectations. There are no leaks, and it does not smoke. You will get high teens for MPG's around the city unless you have a lead foot. These old 4.2 Liter motors have a ton of torque and it will climb straight up a tree. You will notice most of my feedback comes from Wrangler parts, this is my bread and butter so on this note if you ever need quality used parts please bookmark my store/number. I also do listings from time to time for friends, family, or customers because I know Wrangler top to bottom.
