This auction is for a 1938 International D2 pickup, very solid, everything is new, all steel except for rear fenders. Frame was shortened 13 1/2" and boxed. Grille hood fenders cab are all original metal, visor is custom, box is a 35 ford box with new steel floor and rhino coated, flames were stamped in the metal in front of the box, rear fenders are fiberglass 35 ford that have been widened 3 1/2" to cover the wide tires. Front suspension is a Helix independent power rack and pinion, tubular A-arms with cross drilled slotted rotors and 2" drop spindles. Rear is a coil over ladder bar suspension with a one wheel peel ford 9" drum brakes. Motor is a fresh .30 over 401 AMC, power force harmonic balancer, summit cam with 496/521 lift, crane valve springs, dual quad intake with offenhauser cross ram bolt on arms, dual holley chokeless vacuum secondaries 450 carbs matched for tunnel ram setup with K&N velocity stack air cleaners. Custom zoomie headers with 2 harley baffles in each tube to quite the exhaust enough where police don't bother you.Cooled by a new aluminum radiator with a temp sender activated electric fan and stainless overflow tank. Motor has a/c pump on it, HEI distributor. Heater core is bypassed with a hose because I wasn't sure if I was going to put heater back in. Trans is a turbo 400 with hurst hot shift kit, Jenni shifter and B&M trans cooler. Chrome tilt steering with custom wheel, all D shaft and u joint to rack unit. All new Keep it Clean 12 circuit wiring harness from front to back inside and out. LED tail lights, LED front turn signals, halogen head lights. All glass is brand new tinted with new seals, front windshield is a roll out window for that nice breeze. Gray bucket seats, gray carpet new repop cardboard headliner. Original emergency brake works. Doors are suicide with bear claw latches and electric safety laches. Front tires are new 225/70/15 Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T and steel wheels, Rear tires are 315/60/15 Mickey Thompson ET Street radials on steel wheels. That pretty much sums up the vehicle. Engine runs cool, it is your typical 401 AMC and you can google this, they are notorious for having strong oil pressure when cold and very little when idling hot, not to worry it is a common trait of the AMC Big Block. As for the bolt on offenhauser arms, they are cool to look at but really kill performance, they are not an efficient design, if you don't care for the look I would remove the cross ram arms and put the carbs inline for better tune ability. Doors only open from outside handles,need linkages fabricated for inside handles. Door glass need bottom whisker seals, they are available on ebay. Fuel gauge and sender are not compatable so one or the other will need changed. As far as the paint goes it is driver quality, I painted it. It is Kia Canary yellow with flattening agent in the clear coat for a dull look and green pearl and candy with flattener in clear as well. There are chips and scratches but the vehicle is very solid. It's not a trailer queen show car but could be very easily with a little tinkering here and there with someones vision. Hood sides, heater and wiper motors are included as well as anything else that relates to the truck. I have other projects that take priority so this one has to go.That is about all I can think of, Im sure I forgot a few things but it is sunday.
