0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false I bought this 83 GTI late last fall with the intention of using it as a winter car and fixing it up along the way. With the holidays, work, weather and other projects, that never happened. Now my new work schedule will keep me busy for the next few months and I know that I will not do anything with it soon. It is in rough shape but its all there and in pretty solid shape. Not sure of mileage but title indicates 50k miles. It is a factory air car with sunroof. It has new tires and battery with original paint and interior. All lights and electronics function as they should. Car will not start but will crank over freely. I was told it needed a fuel pump and I replaced that but still did not start. Selling it as is. Do not know what else there is but feel free to contact me with question or set up time to inspect. It is a 1.8-liter with a 5-speed transmission. There were over 30 thousand 83/84 GTI built in Westmoreland County PA but not many of these left in original stock condition. This is well worth the time to restore seeing these cars have made it to Classic Collector car status. PayPal accepted
