I have a 2000 Plymouth Neon for sale by original owner. Not looking to put any more money into the car (purchased new vehicle about 6 months ago and this car is just sitting in the driveway) and would like to hand it off to someone who could fix it up or use it as a parts car. It is in working condition but due to a overheating issue, which i think is due to the water pump because there was no radiator coolant leak/smell and the reservoir was full. This vehicle was a daily driver vehicle prior to the overheating issue. I do start the car once a week and leave it running for a little bit. Currently has around 207,779 miles. The car is being sold AS-IS. Buyer responsible for pickup. The Bad: The car idles rough during stops sometimes, also tries to stall at stops. There is a major oil leak and the car will need tires. Some of the speakers do not work properly, there is a hubcap missing. The car was in a front end accident and from that there is no A/C, the front hood and front bumper were replaced with 2 front headlights. Hood, bumper and 2 front fenders were re-painted due to the accident and i believe the chipping of the paint is due to a poor paint job. Also the top motor mount is bad. The Good: This car has been very good to me and it is great on gas, all the lights work inside/outside, interior in the car is in good shape, all manual windows work. There are no major dents on the car except for some minor scuffs or scratches for normal wear and tear on a car that is 14 years old. The vehicle registration is due and there is no insurance on the vehicle because it has been non-operable for 6 months.
