I will try to give you the most accurate description but please contact me with any questions you might have to make sure this car is what you really want! Please be advised that I am not a car mechanic! I bought this car from daughter of the original owner to get it back on the street without realizing the extend of the rust problem this Mercedes has. It is a 1976 Mercedes-Benz 300 Diesel with Automatic Transmission, A/C & Power Windows The Good:- one family car- Engine was replaced with a brand new engine from Mercedes-Benz in 1999 at Mileage 103844 which means the engine has 50k miles on it- engine will start up fine but starter will not disengage- transmission shifting smooth- A/C was replaced in 2003- has been parked in previous owners backyard since 2003- have all receipts incl, engine & A/C work since 1999- nothing missing, chrome looking good- interior in very good shape The Bad:- this Mercedes has a major rust problem- starter will not disengage- rear tires loosing air- seems to have a small oil leak (not sure where oil is coming from)- paint has lots of patina ;-) If you know how to weld this might be a project car for you - for everyone else this is the perfect parts car! This car CANNOT be driven in the state it is in right now - please make sure you have a trailer to pick it up!Please make sure you will be able to pickup the vehicle within 14 days after auction ended.
