Up for sale is a beautiful XKE 2+2 I bought with hopes to complete, but simply have not had time to pull it from storage to even begin. I start it from time to time, but haven't had time to get the brakes done to actually drive her. The carbs have been rebuilt, gas tank has been removed and acid cleaned / sealed. The engine was turned and the distributor converted to electronic. The thermostat and most of the hoses were changed. There are two new modern electric fans on it as well to keep it cool. Bumpers and overriders were re-chromed (they are perfect). Many of the window and door seals were changed, and most of the rest come with the sale and are in a box for the next owner to complete. There are 4 brand new Dunlop tires and new tubes on it. The car runs well, the front end needs some work as it all looks original. All the electrical seems to work except the horn. The interior is in good condition. Driver side floor pan has a quarter size hole and a couple jack points could be reinforced. The front seats have been re-done in vinyl, but the rear seat is the original leather. The body has nice Willow Green paint that was done before I bought it. This could be a really nice driver without doing too much work. It comes with some new additional seals, several chrome pieces that still need to be installed (i.e. rear window chrome, etc) and some paint that was used on the body. It has a newer radiator, and I can include the original as well, if you desire. I have a full set of brakes / pad / rotors for front & rear available for additional $$ (simply inquire) as well as a Blaupunkt Frankfurt AM / FM stereo I will include if the buyer exercises the Buy It Now feature, otherwise, it will not be included, but could be purchased.
