Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible - 35th Aniversary Edition 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 SS Convertible 2-Door 5.7L Thank you for looking at my listing. You are looking at a 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible. Color is black with SS red badging and tan oak leather interior. It is a 35th Anniversary model, and is beautiful, rare, very fast and fun. Head turner, never raced & pampered in garage. Strong & young LS1, low 63.7k orig. miles ! It is a convertible, 1 of 175 ever made, has factory Corvette intake (2002 was the only SS year for this feature), auto transmission, fully stock except for bolt-ons such as L-T headers, Magnaflows (muscular deep rumble but not too loud), Bilstein shocks all around, upgrade brakes (drilled and slotted rotors, red calipers), K&N filter, SLP airbox, cross tower strut brace. The front grill has been upgraded with an SS logo. It is fully optioned out and has cold a/c, the Monsoon CD changer system, steering wheel controls, and all power options. The convertible top is in very good condition and operates perfectly. This SS has 2 Camaro SS key fobs and includes the owners manual. Interior: Condition of the leather interior is very good. Color is tan oak. There is one minor crack in the left side of the drivers seat which is about 2-3 inches, but it is not ripped. The dash, doors, and console are in excellent, very clean condition without blemish. Exterior: Paint on the car is very good, glossy and no sun fade, there are minor scratches on the rear left quarter panel and rear bumper. There are 2 minor door dings on the right rear quarter panel. Visually the car is stunning and sounds even better. This car has been adult driven and very well kept, always garaged and has seen only limited rain. I bought the car as the 2nd owner with 11,000 miles on it from a dealership in Tyler, Texas in 2003. This SS has been garaged in Houston, Texas until October 2013. *Recent transmission issue > Mechanics Special*, the transmission began having a problem up-shifting beyond 2nd gear in January, 2014. Prior to this the vehicle was extremely dependable and in perfect working order for over 11 years. I have received estimates of around $2k to repair it from local shops. I wish to sell it as is and let the buyer perform the transmission repairs, however, the car will run thru 2nd gear and the engine is perfect with everything else excellent and working ! The SS drives straight, planted and handles very well. Current market value without a transmission issue is between $15k - $25K & appreciating in value. Asking Price: 1st $10,000 get’s this beauty. One of the nicest anywhere. I will not accept Paypal for full payment, cash or certified funds only. -Please- no scammers. No Trades. I can help with shipping but only after funds clear. A truly stunning car, and I promise you this is one very fine example of a fourth gen SS, and a very good investment. > For Serious Queries: Contact Michael with any questions at 832-360-4140 or email: michaelthomasamador@yahoo.com
