Excellent condition, well maintained, never down, needs nothing but a new owner! This 2009 Piaggio MP3 was purchased new in 2011, it has had 1 owner who commuted on it for 2.5 years putting on less than 5000 total miles. The scooter has a Madstad Engineering windshield which is fantastic for managing wind protection and is very adjustable for more air in the summer and less in the winter. The only other upgrade to the scooter is a set of Dr Pulley sliders which greatly improve low speed acceleration. The scooter has given me no problems and has had its initial service and a second oil change. The rear tire is new with about 300 miles on it. Because the MP3 has 3 wheels, I do not believe a motorcycle license is required in California but please verify this with the DMV as I have a motorcycle license. Overall the MP3 is a blast to ride, it is much more stable than a 2 wheeler but still gives you that same "wee" fun factor when leaning in to a turn. I have taken the MP3 on the highway (it will do about 90MPH) and it is stable and comfortable. Typical gas mileage has been 50MPG, which is great too. The high tech front steering locks via a switch on the handlebars allowing simple parking and even the ability to not put your feet down at stops.
