I bought this truck last year out of Texas. I got this truck for a couple of reasons, I needed a truck to haul things and I needed a vehicle for my 15-yr old son that was going to be driving soon. I am selling this truck because I bought a truck to use as my daily driver and my son decided he now wants a car. Go figure… I have too many cars already so this one must go!! The good…. The truck runs and stops great. I drove it 3 hours in the summer to take my daughter to college. It drove fine no overheating issues at all. Truck blows cold A/C, has power windows, cruise, tilt, nice stereo system with amp/ subwoofer and alarm/keyless entry system. All options work as they should. NO POWER DOOR LOCKS, Truck has the healthy 5.7 Litre V-8 Engine and Overdrive Automatic Transmission. All original. Runs strong and sound great through the dual exhaust. Had the front brakes redone about 3-weeks ago. Stops great. Front glass is good, no cracks. Interior is in good shape as the carpet it too. Hood is metal – not fiberglass. Some minor cracks around the hood scoop though. This is a 1990 Chevy, the grill is off a 1999 Chevy. Tires are in good shape, I would say about 70-80% tread on them. Wheels are from Eagle and are in good shape. The Bad… This truck is not a show vehicle. The paint is ok but could use some sanding and refinishing with a new coat of clear. Or leave it alone as I have. Truck itself looks nice. The truck has door poppers – driver’s door is connected to the alarm system. The passenger door is connected to a button in the dash, however I believe its bad and needs to be replaced. I bought it like this. Sometimes the engine rev’s high and causes the “check engine” light to come on. Once the engine rev’s down, light goes out. Been this way since I bought it, even with the light on the truck runs smooth. The wiper switch on the column needs to be replaced. Always works on high but slow or intermediate works when it wants too. The temp gauge doesn’t work nor the shift indicator on the dash. Truck doesn’t overheat!
