1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 – Clone Up for sale is my 1970 Mustang Boss Clone. I bought this car in the spring of 2012 for my every day car. The only thing I have done to it is install a new battery and new Holley carburetor. The carburetor that came on the car did not have an electric choke. I also put on new 15x8 Magnum 500 wheels and new BF Goodrich Tires. It has a great running 302 with a small cam, headers, and dual exhaust. I put on a new Holley carburetor with an electric choke, replaced the brakes, and installed a new master cylinder. It sounds good going down the road. The body is very straight and solid. From 20 feet away, the paint looks good, but upon closer inspection, you see that it is a 44-year-old car. It looks good, but if you want to show it, it will need new paint somewhere down the road. The interior is fine for me as a daily driver, but will need front seat covers and a dash. I have been intending to do this, but just have not gotten to it. The underside is great with no rust. The underside appears to be mostly original as it has much of the original undercoating. The automatic transmission shifts, as it should. I had it serviced last year at a local transmission shop. If you are looking for the perfect Mustang, this is not it. If you are looking for a wonderful daily driver, this may be the one for you. We have several Mustangs that we do not drive often for fear that someone will ding the door or a rock will chip the paint. This cars purpose was to be a daily drive and a car that we could actually enjoy. Please note that the rear taillights are for a 1969, not 1970. The previous owner must have changed them. The radio works, but not very well. The glass is good. The remote for the driver’s side mirror is missing. To answer some questions, we have driven the car around town, but have not taken it on a long trip. You may want to have this car transported to your location. We will work with your transport company. $500 non-refundable payment is due within 48 hours of the close of the auction. You may pay this deposit through PayPal. The balance is due within 7 days of the close of the auction or when you pick up the car, whichever comes first.
