Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a beautiful Ford Bronco II in great condition, all original, just don't see too many of these around in this condition. Manual Transmission, fun to drive! Forgive my long description of my Bronco but I want to try to describe it as accurately as possible plus I am very proud of it. Two owner vehicle as I inherited it from my dad in 1993. I used it as my primary vehicle for almost 20 yrs. The 4wd has been used very sparingly as I live in Arkansas and just used in ice and snow conditions. The vehicle has never been used for off road. Vehicle driven very gentle for its entire life. Never in an accident, was hit from behind by a small car on left bumber that slightly turned it down but see from pics, not very noticeable. The Good: great looking, head turner, drives very nice, interior in good condition, slight wear on drivers seat-no holes, vinyl rear tire cover original and repaired since picture so it fits tight again. New window sweeps and felt around window glass, radiator and water pump replaced in last 5 years. Upgraded Pioneer stereo. Paint still looks good with shine (blemishes described later), never any engine work-igntion module replaced along with distrbutor, plug wires, plugs over the years, motor runs well with good power and 22-24 mile gallon, synthetic oil used most of life, power windows (right window makes a little noise) , speed control and AC work (AC upgraded to new coolant). Bad- valve cover gaskets leak (notorius on the 2.9 Engine) but usually don't add oil between changes, electric door locks inop but work manually, fuel gauge inop-I used trip indictor to track fillup time (23 Gal tank- I drive 400 mi then fill), volume knob on radio doesn't work but radio works fine with remote control, left front speaker crackles a little, might need replacing. Paint is faded on hood and top but look good after polishing, some small places on top where paint has peeled but primer in tack. A few small dents from hail on the hood but not real noticable, light scratching in paint from age, original aluminum alloy wheels have scratches I think because they were originally clear coated. Rubber or plastic arround rear tinted glass rough from sun exposure. Steering well faded and door ledges from sun, dash after many years of care with ArmourAll fianlly cracked (see pictures). After engine has sat for awhile, at start up, occationally a lifter will tap until oil pressure rises. With all this said, this is still an impressive and fun vehicle to drive and looks great for its age for sure.
