BMW R 60/5 , "Toaster" A personal financial situation force me to sell my project: BMW R 60/5 with 29151 miles.I bought the motorcycle 6 month ago. I cleaned the tank ( which is rust free, original red paint) and the carburetors and installed 2 new gas peak cocks, changed the oil and the oil filter, changed the air filter. The engines runs, starts easily and the bike is running. Shifting through all gears, very stable ride , brakes are working ( I never drove a motorcycle with a front drum brake, so it is hard for me to judge the front brake). The paint is in good conditions, there is a small ding on the tank. She is 41 years old, so there are a couple of rusty screws and a couple of rust spots .....But, I think it would be easy to bring her to her original beauty. I don't know how old the tires are, better to change them. Two things are not working: Turn-signals and speedometer.Please judge the motorcycle yourself by looking at the pictures. I never registered the bike in my name but I have a signed title and a bill of sale from the previous owner (2.). Please note: No showing or pick up of the motorcycle between March, 5 and March 26!!!!
