1992 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500 NO RESERVE! 159,326 Original Miles It’s been a great vehicle for camping, helping family & friends move, etc… I just got a great deal on a newer model so it’s time for this reliable vehicle to go to a new home. Black and Silver without any body dents or damage. Tan cloth interior with stains, dust and dirt. There is a small tear in the driver’s seat; but all other seats are solid and intact. Has not been used as a plow vehicle. Some scuffs and scratches to the exterior body. No rust through spots – solid body. Some rust to the running boards. As far as I know it has never been in a motor vehicle accident. At least two times a pole was tapped while backing up; couple of dings in the rear bumper from that. Starts without any issues. Service Record: 2/6/14: Front Brakes & Rotors, Alignment, Flush & Service Brake System & Power Steering Fluids @ Mavis 2/2/14: Replaced scratched weathered headlights with aftermarket headlights – look and work great! I have aftermarket front bumper lights that match that are included with this auction. New owner can install them or I can do it for you or you can keep them resell the bumper lights. I also have extra bulbs that are included. 1/26/14: Fuel Filter Replaced and Oil & Filter Change (157,098 miles) @ Jiffy Lube 12/27/13: Rebuild Rear Differential (156,837 miles) @ Lakewood Used Auto 11/20/13: Spark Plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor – local mechanic 11/12/13: New Battery, New gas tank, new fuel pump, sending unit, fuel sock & fuel filter @ Meineke 10/10/13: Oil & Filter change (152,102 miles) and Front & Rear Differential Fluid Serviced @ Jiffy Lube 9/12/13: Water Pump Replaced & oil change @ Meineke 5/1/13: Fuel System Cleaned and Oil & Filter Change (144,281 miles) @ Jiffy Lube I had purchased this vehicle from a friend and while I don’t have the service records I do know that in the year prior to me purchasing it he replaced the alternator and radiator. I believe he also did the shocks within 1 to 2 years before I purchased the car from him. When it was at Mavis on Feb. 6th they said the shocks looked to still be in good working condition. Of course a 22 year old vehicle has its unique items: 1. Gas gauge sometimes is not accurate (about 1/8 to 1/4 of a tank off at times). 2. Rear Lift Gate window does not release – you must turn the key and pull the window up. Window stays up without any issues. 3. Front gear transfer box. On Fri., Feb. 14th a short grinding noise developed. It comes and goes when you first accelerate. It goes away either on its own in less than a second or take your foot off the accelerator for second & it goes away. Does not happen while driving on the highway. I had a transmission expert look it over. He told me that the transmission shifts fine and that there are no issues with the transmission from his test drive. He said it was the transfer gear box. He told me it won’t break down stranding me with the vehicle but it should be addressed at some time. I decided not to have the work down. New owner can address this as they want. 4. Trip odometer does not work. All other instruments on the panel work. 5. Drivers interior door panel a little loose – to be expected. 6. Head liner has some tears and a little sagging. Steps have been taken to secure it up so that it is not annoying. 7. ABS Anti Lock light comes on and off (more “on” than “off”). Does not affect the braking of the vehicle. I never had this looked at to find out why the light is on. From what I have heard this is a common issue with this model. 8. Cruise Control does not work Vehicle is available for inspection and test drive – contact me. New owner is responsible for pick-up, transportation, delivery, taxes, plates, insurance, paperwork, etc… On Feb-22-14 at 06:11:23 PST, seller added the following information: NEW TIRES!!! I forgot to update the listing that there are four (4) brand new tires that were installed on 2/6/14 along with the alignment, brakes, etc... at Mavis.
