Up for sale is my 2000 VR6, Our needs have changed and the family now needs a larger vehicle. As a family Vehicle the maintainence has always been kept up with regular oil changes every 3 to 4K miles. This is an incredibly fast powerful Jetta appointed with many luxury items such as heated leather seats and it still gets over 32 MPG. The front wheel drive make it great in snowy icy conditions and with the high gas millage make it a perfect commuter. Everything works as it should, this summer we used the AC everyday and it was very cold. the heater works very well and the heated front seats are a nice plus on these cold days. The car steers smooth and straight with no vibrations or shimmy at highway speeds. As I wasn't planning on selling this car I did all of the following maintainence listed, so its ready to get in and drive. I also fixed and or replaced many annoying problems that commonly break with these Jettas like the cloudy rear view mirror (replaced) , Pop out cup holder (replaced) glove compartment door hindge (repaired) . New climate contol computer and heater fan resistor. Also one electric radiator fan was replaced. The Oil and filter are scheduled to be changed in about 2K miles. Milage may vary from what is pictured as it is still in daily use. Also the car just past New Jersey state emmision inspection so if registered in NJ you are good for two years without inspection. On Jan-09-14 at 06:42:45 PST, seller added the following information: No oil or water leaks, this car has been primarily used by my son as well, he is using it every day. It is very reliable and gets great gas milage. To stay with my maintainence schedule the oil should be changed in ~ 2k miles, I might have the filter in the garage which if I do I'll throw in. Also the car really has a huge trunk and the back seats fold down making a really big cargo area.
