I bought this truck to keep. I fixed everything I thought might be wrong or go bad. The story I got with the truck is it was a cracked block truck and had a motor installed new at sometime. I have no paperwork or anything to back that up. I do know it has a 56 block in it now. The only reason I am selling it is my wife refused to drive it so I bought another truck the same as this with an automatic. This truck runs and drives great. It has never had a gooseneck or fifth wheel in it. It does have a hole in the front of the bed that someone put a smoke stack on it. I removed it and put on a FULL 5 inch exhaust with a muffler for a great sound. I built this truck to keep it. Here is the list of everything I have done in the last 6 months to the truck. Most if not all of it was bought on eBay you can see my feedback for most of it. I am sure there is more I am forgetting. $1400 Rebuilt Trans NV4500 by High Gear. Its got the newer shaft that fixes the 5th gear problem and a cast tail housing instead of the aluminum one. $650 Clutch by Valair - 400HP with the 13 inch conversion EBay -Diesel Auto Power $150 New starter Oreilly Auto parts $100 New alternator (still in the box not on the truck one on it works just is lazy when first started) EBay $260 OEM slave cylinder- Dealer $250 FASS DDRP Lift pump just installed EBay $50 5" exhaust tip $345 Full 5 inch exhaust with muffler This thing sounds great (Diamond Eye) Ebay $165 Rebuilt steering box- EBay $120 Steering stiffener (bolts on the front to reinforce the steering box) $75 Front end alignment - The shop said all the ball joints look like they had been replaced. $200 1 new right side front hub bearing and rotor new front ceramic brakes $210 Cold air intake- EBay $1000 New tires 285-70-17 Hancook Dynapro ATM RF10 10 ply truck tires. $500 bought used set of 2003 Dodge 17" wheels polished alum $60 Changed oil with Rotella ______ $5535 This is all hard cash I have put in this truck in the last 6 month and less than 1000 miles this is parts ONLY no LABOR. I would drive this truck anyplace. I try and be very good at my descriptions and I am picky about my cars. I try and make you feel like your standing there yourself. If you have any questions or specifics let me know. If you want anymore pics let me know. More stuff - It has 3:55 gears and a Dana 80 in the back. (according to the sticker under the hood) On the truck it has a dial up or down Power Max programmer (see pic) This works very good it goes from 0-10 I have kept in on 0 or 1 on 10 its incredible you would never need that much power for anything. It has a fuel pressure gauge on the bottom of the dash its not working the sending unit is not hooked up. The windshield has a chip in the center about the size of a quarter. Looks like it has been filled by a glass shop and does not seem to be spreading. The grill chrome has some wrinkles in it- The front bumper all pads and headlamps and marker lamps are NEW the originals were fadded. (this is not on my $ list I forgot) The seat is very nice no tears. The dash is good NO cracks. The map pocket needs painted its light gray instead of dark gray (it had a CB in there and I removed it) factory am-fm cd with eq. Carpet is nice and clean. The left door glass works good if you keep pushing it up when its up the motor will skip teeth. Its working fine. The truck has some rust bubbles on the cab corners and to bottom of the doors very minor. Looks like someone put POR15 on the doors so it appears to have stopped. There is a couple small dings in it over the left tail lamp and on the right bedside by the cab. Not bad but worth mentioning. Certainly not worth fixing. The left power door mirror the small mirror is broke. The main mirror is ok. The only thing I would do to the truck is next oil change I would pull off the oil cooler and change the gasket its seeping a little on the outside of the block. Looks like a simple job to do with oil change and put in new antifreeze. Otherwise the truck has no leaks and is not all greasy like my other truck is.
