Check it out we're going back in time! I discovered this TR6 parked and sitting in a garage / slash barn type structure. It had a dirt floor, gaps in the wall boards you could drive through, one tiny light bulb ( that didn't work), but it protected this TR6 enough that in the right hands with some parts, some money, and the right attitude another TR6 will be back on the road. Pulled into the garage in the early 80's it sat until i bought it about 1 year or so ago. Although it needs all the outer sheet metal and floorboards etc., the inner tub looks good, hell the right passenger floorboard isn't even that bad seen worse! I've always noticed how TR6 can be funny sometimes they rust in places you haven't seen before sometimes they do sometimes they don't, never the same! what is kind of cool on this one is how literally untouched and changed it is very original condition with hardly any changes, straight sheet metal and inner body no visible collision damage at all super straight straight, bumpers,complete interior and dash, and what i still think is so odd the hood release operates and the bonnet pops up and closes like a new car....strange, usually they would be frozen shut or broken. There are markings on the radiator shroud in white chalk or marker that are obviously compression readings the lowest being 115 and the highest 130 or 135 there is a pic but its tough to see. The frame is rotted too, hey it's been sitting in a barn in New England for 30 years come on! But before you get discourgaed fear not this one comes with a nice rolling complete chassis that is rot free just needs media blast and paint that my friends is a Big BONUS. The car comes with its original Rhode Island Registration Plates, Rhode Island is a non title state, but another bonus is the donor frame comes with its title and door jamb i.d. plate which is also a 1970 a clear transferable Massachusetts title,so hey depending on were you live build one build two the skys the limit! The original chassis can most likely be saved also with the repair kits offered so keep that in mind. i have uploaded a ton of pictures, i have also placed a super low reserve on this six so don't snooze or you will lose. A nice complete restoration car waiting for a new home. I need the room and funds for my new garage so bid it up and good luck!! SOME HAVE ASKED IF THE ADDITIONAL TUB PIECE IS INCLUDED WITH SPARE CHASSIS SEEN IN PIC NO IT IS NOT BUT CAN BE MADE AVAILABLE ALTHOUGH I DON'T THINK THE CAR NEEDS MUCH OFF IT YES THIS WAS A RUNNING DRIVING CAR WHEN PARKED OWNER SAID HE PARKED IT WHEN HE WAS IN COLLEGE BECAUSE THE TRAILING ARM BOXES ON THE FRAME HAD WENT BAD.
