This is an amazingly quick and well-engineered car that loves going fast on the freeway. I have owned it for four years and it has served me very well. I have taken good care of it, it has a completely clean CARFAX and up-to-date registration and smog certificate, and I can provide the maintenance receipts for the past several years. I am going to miss the voluminously large trunk! It has only a few, very minor dings and scratches all of which have been photographed. The interior in still in great condition. Under factory warranty, the headliner was changed 18 months ago. The car has been well-loved and has two recent and two brand-new tires. There is a mild rattle in the catalytic converter that is noticeable during startup and while idling. It does not affect performance or emissions in any way, and the car passed its recent smog inspection with flying colors. I barely notice it anymore and it does not need to be repaired, but if for some reason you did want to do so, the cost to purchase and install an aftermarket catalytic converter would be around $200. In California, the cost would be higher because you would need to use an original VW converter due to California smog regs. This has been a great car and I will miss it a lot. The only reason I am selling it is that I was recently married, and we now have an excess of vehicles. $500 deposit required within 48 hours of close of auction. Balance due 7 days after close of auction.
