I have what I believe to be a very rare and very nice mostly original two wheel drive Dodge Ramcharger SE, with a removable top, commonly known as a pop top. I purchased this from the family of the original owner in Washington state. He was on his deathbed and in no condition to deal with me. I will tell you I have been told about it, and then I will give you some observations of my own. The gentleman who owned this used it as a truck/fishing vehicle, and it did not come with a factory rear seat but at some time there was an aftermarket rear seat installed, as well as the rear carpet replaced. When I got it, there was no rear seat, but some type of aftermarket brackets. They will be included in the sale. The ac quit working and the hoses and condenser etc were removed. The compressor is still on the vehicle. What I know and have found out about it is this. The front carpet appears to be original and in good shape. It could use a shampoo.. It runs and drives great, and has either- new or nearly new brakes, and a front swaybar that I think has been added. I guess it could be original since I haven't seen many two wheel drive 74-80 Ramchargers or Traildusters. If you drive it and shut it off, the carb does run over a little, and you get the typical puff of blue smoke from old valve stem seals when you start it. The miles currently read just over 17000, it has been over. Also, the stereo isn't very loud and should be updated along with the speakers. All of the gauges work, as does the heat. I believe that at least most of the paint is original, if not all of it. There are some dent/indentations on the passenger side door and right behind it that I have included in the pictures. It has a tow package and brake controller that he added as well. The wheels and tires on it do NOT go with it, as they belong on another vehicle I have. The original steel wheels and full hubcaps will go with it. They are in good shape and appear to have a lot of tread left. Please contact me with any questions you might have.
