Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a 1954 Dodge WM300 power wagon. The truck needs a full restoration, but is mostly complete. Please look at all of the pictures and ask any questions prior to bidding. These trucks are getting harder and harder to find in any condition. This truck has its original motor and drivetrain. While it needs extensive work, it is running and driving. The fuel tank is gone, so it needs to run off of an external fuel tank. The truck runs in all gears and the winch is also operational. The drivers side cab corner is rusted as well as several portions of the cab floor and lower door frames. The rear frame crossover near the pintle hitch mount is is pretty rough shape. All of the hard parts are accounted for and if you can do some metal work, this would be a good project for you to restore. The running boards are pretty rough, but reproductions are available. There are quite a few reproduction parts available on the market now. I have a title for the truck that is in my name. The bed on the truck is from a 54 2 wheel drive truck. It fits pretty good and was in far better shape than the original bed. I still have hte original bed side and will include them if the buyer would like them. The truck is originally black. The tires hold air, but are dry rotten and will also need replacement. The brakes are not operational, but the parking brake does work and is useful for loading the truck on a trailer or lot driving it to move the truck around under its own power. I purchased the truck with the intent to do a 4BT cummins repower. AFter holding on to the truck for several years, I realize that I don't have the time for this project.
