Vehicle Detail
I traded a 1968 Dodge Charger for this car 10 years ago. It is a 426cid (400 low deck big block [B-Block] with an offset ground crank and minor overbore) engine, 4 speed A833 equipped 2 door door post sedan. The 8 3/4 inch rear end is Sure Grip equipped. The photo of the car with the girl in it is what the car looked like before I took it apart. I originally intended to just fix up the car enough to enjoy it on a regular basis. Plans changed when I bought a Viper drivetrain to put into the Plymouth and took the car apart to begin the conversion. When I pulled the carpet out, I discovered that somebody had replaced a large part of the floors with Mississippi license plates. This discovery led to me taking the whole car apart to see what other horrible "repairs" had been done. Fortunately, the floors were the only butcher job on the car. My V10 swap turned into a full restoration and customization. While I was putting together a list of the parts needed to give the car the rebuild that it deserves, life got in the way and I no longer have the time or money to complete the car. Everything that I replaced on the car when it was still together was replaced with the best parts available. There is a Meizere electric water pump, Aeromotive fuel pump and filter, new fuel tank that has been coated, lined, and sumped, a brand new wiring harness and wiring diagram is included, the carb is an 850 Demon, Taylor SpiroPro plug wires, new heavy duty aluminum radiator, and the ignition was replaced with an Accel 300+ digital unit with matching coil. The car sits on a set of Mopar "Police Rally" wheels, complete with dog dish hubcaps. Two spare wheels and one spare center cap are included. The car is sold as-is, where-is. I am willing to deliver the car within 300 miles of the greater New Orleans area for $2.00 per loaded mile. My car trailer is also available for sale to the winning bidder for an additional $1000.00. I have clear Louisiana titles in my name for both the car and the trailer. The Viper engine is for sale in a separate auction. Lots of spare and extra parts come with this car but I will not inventory them. When you buy the car, you get everything that comes with it. None of the tools or equipment seen in the pictures are included in this auction. I will throw in the Mississippi license plates that I removed from the floors if the buyer wants them. All information presented in this listing is true and accurate to the best of my ability to know. The specifics of the engine internal build and components are information that was given to me by the person that I purchased the vehicle from and the accuracy of those statements cannot be verified by me at this time, bid accordingly. Additional pictures are available upon request. The photograph of the complete car with the woman shows what the car looked like before I took it apart. The vehicle is not currently in that condition and the image is included as a reference only.
