This is my 2006 VW Jetta with the Turbo diesel engine. It has a 5 speed manual transmission. It starts and runs fine. I routinely use this as my highway car because it is so economical to drive. It is up to date on maintenance. The oil and filters have recently been changed. The tires have almost all the tread remaining. It had an oil leak on the turbo last year that was fixed by replacing the turbo and manifolds. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. The bad. The car is now showing 183,400 mile. The title is incorrect showing 185,529 when I bought it over a year ago. I have driven this car over 3000 miles in the past year. The radio does not work. I do not know what the problem is from. There is a dash light on indicating brake pad wear, although when checking the pads, they look fine. There is also a light on the dash indicating a light is out somewhere. Finally, there is a light that comes on and off indicating that the glow plug heater on cylinder #1 is faulty, although the car has never hesitated starting. There is a lot of miles left in this car. I am buying a new TDI and have decided to sell this one. There is no reserve on this auction, the winning bidder drives it home. Please be prepared to pay for the car if you bid on it. The car is titled to my business and must collect sales tax if it applies to you. I will pay for titling and document fees in OHIO. This car is being sold "as is". If you want a warranty you better go to a VW dealership and buy a car.
